1981 Work Plan

Subject: Work Plan for the Deputy Director for 1981

The Deputy Director of the American Section of the International Solar Energy Society tasks for 1981 are designed to help fulfill the overall purpose of the Society, which is the wide utilization of solar energy at the earliest date.

The work plan includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

1. Developing grant sources, writing and submitting grant proposals and preparing related material.

2. Writing PR and related materials and implementing an effective PR campaign.

3. Aiding in the development of Society policy and procedure manuals and related materials.

4. Helping the Society achieve sound management, especially with regard to fiscal management.

5. Providing input into a Long Range Plan for the Society.

6. Finishing my assignment in the Solar Action Program.

7. Assisting the Executive Director with coordination and liaison with*the Society's committees and divisions.

8. Assisting the Executive Director with the handling of information requests and requests for speakers and expert testimony.

9. Generating income to the Society that exceeds my total cost to the Society.
